 This class is great!  I found the flyer in my neighborhood coffee shop and tried the class because I love the idea of dancing and exercising my body all at the same time. I am hooked! Pam is a great teacher, very patient with a beginner such as myself, and I was amazed when I realized that after 3 classes I was remembering the steps and boogying!! Super convenient location - reasonably priced - "try it, you'll like it!" 



I have found a new love for Dance Therapy class. I have told all of my family and friends about it.  It is the best workout EVER and I always leave soaking wet and my legs are mush, which I like!! I always feel rejuvenated and like I can conquer anything.  I have to be TOTALLY honest.  When I first took the class, I didn't know what to expect and what was in store.  I'm impressed with how Pam does EVERYTHING.  She made me and my friend feel really, really welcome when we first joined.  I like how she starts off slowly for everyone to catch on.  She never made us feel less than, while dancing.  I like how  she doesn't mind going over things and I love the repetition. I love the warm up, that seems to be a workout in itself...LOL. I love the choreography, it is the BOMB.  I even had the pleasure to watching the Christmas routine that DT students performed and I was mesmerized by that.  She makes dancing look so fun and easy.  I really look forward to Thursdays and Saturdays, because I know that I will be challenged by DT routines.  There is not one thing that I dislike about DT class.  Even the stretches at the end of the class are detailed and specific.  She is very professional about everything.  With such great music playing, you can't help but to keep on moving.  My friend and I had that discussion last Thursday after class.  She was surprised by the great selection of music too. Great warm up music, great routine music and great stretching music.   What a special gift!  The gift of music selection and the wonderful gift of dance!!  Thank you Pam.  You inspire us ALL at Dance Therapy!! 



Dance Therapy is just that!  Complete conditioning for the body!  It's a fun, moving, energetic class with crazy cool music that gets you bending, shaking, moving, and singing.  You completely forget that you're in class exercising!  I highly recommend checking it out.  And with it being centrally located, I can go to class, and complete my shopping errands all in the same area.  Thanks Pam for creating such a great class!!




Although rhythm is difficult for me, I've always wanted to dance. And here I found just the right class. I am amazed to discover that I do have some grooves! Pam is a wonderful teacher, patient and attentive to her students, especially with beginners like me. Her instruction is clear and easy to follow. She doesn't mind going over the steps before class starts, and can break it down into sections. Her choreography is lively, energetic, and cool! It's a great way to exercise and have fun at the same time. I improve strength and flexibility with all the movement and stretching. Classes are conveniently located in downtown San Leandro, and the price is just right. Hooray! I can dance after all!



I had never taken a dance class before, and I'm totally hooked!  This class is an amazing combination of fun and exercise.  It's my favorite work out class ever!  



 

 For some time now I have been looking for a dance exercise class that strikes a proper balance between dance and exercise i.e. not just a series of repetitive steps one can master in their sleep. What goes on in this class is very similar to what I used to experience when I took dance classes in the city from professional choreographers. First of all, I can tell Pam has spent hours of outside time preparing for this class. Unlike some community dance classes I have tried out where they are actually using class time to "figure out" some choreography....Pam has her choreography for the entire dance completely finished and just makes us move-move-move to learn what she has already worked out ahead of time. Like a REAL dance class, Pam teaches larger sections of a dance, then moves on to another larger section of a dance so that the brain as well as the body is challenged. When one hour has passed by we have already learned half a dance or close to 2 minutes of music. This makes for a very interesting class that keeps us dancing with little time wasted stopping and standing. Anyone would feel comfortable in this class as Pam continually mentions to make modifications where necessary for those who cannot physically do certain moves. I love that it is not too early....9:45 gives me time to wake up without an alarm, have my coffee, and drive to class in time to dance.



I have heard about this Dance Therapy class for a while, but I did not take it until October. Boy, have I been missing out! Pam taught a hip-hop routine that was fun, challenging, and a wonderful workout. It had a nice combination of hard and not-so-hard choreography that left me wanting more. I left the class feeling energized and full of endorphins. It did not matter that I was a super klutz, what's important is that I danced for literally hours, moved all parts of my body, had a blast--and felt skinnier and stronger the next day. Thanks, Pam! This class is wonderful!!!  As a guy who joined in, I was totally impressed and had a great time.  Pam is an excellent instructor and great motivator.  Her choreography varies and keeps things fresh, at the same time giving you a great workout no matter what level of dancer you are.  If you like to dance, I highly recommend this class for you...



Great class, great instructor!  If you're looking for a different and fun way to get your heart rate up, don't miss Dance Therapy.  Pam's well cued, hip-hoppish choreography is easy to follow and challenging enough to keep you interestedGood music, great for all skill levels, fairly priced, convenient times and location.  5 starts!  :)

When Pam teaches a routine, she really takes the time to go through every move, step by step, and makes sure that everyone is doing it correctly.  I will definitely drop in to DT class, to challenge myself and to get a good workout!!  I must say that DT has greatly contributed to my mental well being, through dance and this is something that I will cherish for a lifetime!!  And again, thank you for everything!!  DANCE ON!!!!!!


